Dandruff Treatment using Home Remedies September 19, 2010
The dandruff can be treated by suing a variety of home remedies such as Fenugreek Seeds, Lime, Green Gram Powder, Beet, and Snake Gourd.
Using the fenugreek seeds – The fenugreek seeds are considered to be one of the important remedies that can be used in the treatment of dandruff. You need to take two tablespoons of these seeds and then soaked them overnight in water and make a fine paste by grounding it in the morning. Then, you can apply this paste and left it for half an hour. The hair is then washed thoroughly with acacia concinna or soap-nut (ritha) solution.
Using the Lime – You can take a teaspoon of fresh lime juice and rinse your hair with it while washing it. It not only makes the hair looks glowing but also eradicates stickiness and prevents dandruff.
Using the Green Gram Powder – You can green gram powder as a valuable prescription for removing the dandruff. You can wash your hair twice a week along with two tablespoons of powder mixed with half a cup of curd.
Using the Beet – You can also use beets for treating dandruff. You are required to boil both tops and roots in water and use this water for massaging the scalp with your finger tips every night. You can use the white beet for this purpose.
Using the Snake Gourd – You can use the snake gourd for treating dandruff by extracting its juice and applying it over the scalp. It is an effective in the prevention and treatment of dandruff.
You can also use curd for treating dandruff. You only need to massage the hair with the curd that was kept open for three days, for half an hour. Before going to bed, you can use a few drops of lime juice mixed with Indian gooseberry juice.
