Natural Treatment For Dandruff November 15, 2010
Chemicals may sometimes damage hair more than protecting them so natural care for hair is always recommended. One such natural remedy for dandruff is “TEA TREE OIL”. It is an essential oil that comes from the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia. It helps in fighting fungus which is the sole reason for dandruff. Recently a study by the researchers of Australia proved that:-
- Tea tree oil reduces the symptoms of dandruff
- It also reduces the amount of greasiness
- The major plus point is that “NO SIDE EFFECTS”
The tea tree oil might have to be used for about two weeks before some effective results are visible. A great tea tree oil that can be added to shampoos for the ultimate dandruff treatment is “Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Oil”. Once you have started using the oil you may notice
- A cool sensation on your scalp while the shampoo or oil mixture soaks in
- Your hair be shinier
- Deep clean feeling after rinsing out

The tea tree extract can be used as shampoo or one part of it can be mixed with 10 parts of some other oil like almond oil. This can then be used for massaging the scalp. Even after the dandruff has vanished continue using the tea tree oil because you obviously don’t want it to occur again…don’t you?
But before starting its full fledged usage do put a drop on your arm or leg and check if you are allergic to it.
