Dandruff can be reduced by taking care of the various remedies that are related to diet, homemade remedies, natural remedies and homeopathic remedies.
(1) Adopting a healthy diet and lifestyle can go a long way in controlling dandruff. If you consume saturated fats in good quantity than it can lead to skin oils of scalp to become acidic and eventually it gets thicken. You should reduce the intake of fatty foods, junk foods, animal fats, sea-foods, sugar, flour, and fried foods. You should include more of raw food materials that have good fiber content. Consuming yogurt daily also helps in killing fungus by yeast.
(2) You should use tea tree oil that is very effective in treating fungus-related problems. It has many medicinal properties and it can also be used as an antiseptic. You should use a shampoo that helps in washing your hair at least three times a week. It assists in reducing the dandruff.
(3) You should try for sesame oil scalp massage before sleeping and then wash it with warm water. It helps in increasing the blood circulation to the scalp and removing the dandruff. Similarly, you can also massage with coconut oil or virgin olive oil for removing the dandruff.
(4) You should prepare a mixture of apple cider vinegar and add warm water and apply it on your scalp. Once you are done with it, you can keep it for about 30 minutes and then rinse it thoroughly. It helps a lot in reducing the itchiness and scaling of dandruff.
(5) You can also use the homeopathic remedies. Some of the famous homeopathic remedies that are widely used for the treatment of the dandruff include sepia, sulphur and oleander. Before trying these homeopathic medicines, you should take the help from a renowned practitioner.
